Pupil premium

Pupil Premium is additional funding, from the government, provided to schools for supporting more pupils from low income families to ensure they benefit from the same opportunities as all other children. At St Dunstan's Cheam C of E Primary School we have used the funding strategically to support and enhance the learning development of our pupils in Literacy and Mathematics.  We do this specifically through focused nurturing activities and mentoring to raise self-esteem and confidence. For details relating to current and previous designated amounts, and other recent information related to Pupil Premium, please click on this link.

In order to ensure that any child eligible for Pupil Premium is identified, the school communicates regularly with parents and carers to request they apply for this additional funding as it is not something schools are able to do themselves.  For the latest information on how to apply for the funding for Sutton residents, please follow this link.
