Admissions

The Governing Body is required to abide by the maximum limits for infant classes (Reception, Years 1 & 2; ie. 5, 6 and 7 year olds) of 30 pupils per class.

Parents of pupils who have a statement of special educational needs or Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan are required to apply for school places separately through the LA from whom advice is available. If a child with a statement or EHC Plan is placed in the school before the normal admission round, the number of places available to other applicants will be reduced.

The school is part of the Pan London co-ordinated admissions scheme for primary admissions. Parents should apply online via their home LA's e-admission system (check LA website for closing date).  For Sutton this is explained in their Starting School Guidance Booklet which is available at the sutton.gov.uk website here.

If applying for a Foundation (Church) place, a Child of a Member of Staff place, or a Pupil Premium place, parents must also complete the St Dunstan's School Supplementary Information Form, as well as naming the school as one of their preferences in the LA application process.  The Supplementary Information Form is available from the school or from Forms to Download in this section. Failure to return this form to the school by the due date will mean that the application will not be ranked under the relevant criterion.

If a parent completes the school's Supplementary Information Form but does not name the school in the LA application process, it will not be treated as a valid application. Late applications will be considered in accordance with the procedure set out in the co-ordinated scheme.
